“Last Christmas” is a song written by George Michael and originally released by Wham! in 1984, where it reached No. 2 in the UK charts. It was kept off the top spot by Band Aid’s “Do They Know It’s Christmas?” which also featured George Michael. It has re-entered the chart many times and eventually got to No.1 in January 2021, more than 36 years after it’s original release!
