Can’t Take My Eyes Off You

“Can’t Take My Eyes Off You” is a song written by musician Bob Gaudio, of the Four Seasons, and record producer, Bob Crewe. Originally recorded by Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons in April 1967, it reached #2 in the US Billboard charts.

The first version to chart in the UK was by Andy Williams in March 1968. His version stayed on the charts for 5 months peaking at #5 in the Record Retailer Top 50.

In 1982 it was a #1 hit across Europe for the Boys Town Gang (#4 in the UK).

A version by Lauryn Hill was included as a hidden track on her debut album in 1998. Her version became a big hit in Australia reaching #8 in the ARIA charts.

My version is from a live stream recorded on Tuesday, 6th October 2020.
